  Conditions of Let
  • The house is generally let for a 7 day period from Saturday 16.00 hrs to Saturday, 10.00 hrs.
  • Terms are quoted on a weekly basis and the maximum period of let is 3 weeks.
  • Use of electricity, fuel and other services are included in the price quoted.
  • Sub-letting is strictly prohibited.
  • A firm booking will be contracted on receipt of a non-refundable deposit.
  • Pets are allowed only by prior arrangement with the proprietors.
  • The proprietors reserve the right to refuse admission to their property and to require any person to leave when they consider there is a breach of contract or deem that there is damage to the property or cause of nuisance or conduct in an offensive manner.
  • The property is NO SMOKING.
  • All booking are made on the understanding that the property will be available to the tenant on the dates stated.
  • If for any reason beyond the proprietor's control (e.g. fire damage, etc.) the property is not available on the dates booked all monies paid by the tenant shall be returned in full, but the tenant shall have no further claim against the proprietor.
  • The tenant agrees to keep the property and all its fitments, furniture and other contents in or on the property in the like state of repair or condition as at the commencement of the letting and will make good any damage, breakage or loss that may occur during the period of letting.
  • The property and all utensils and equipment, etc., must be left in clean condition at conclusion of let.
  • In no circumstances may more than the pre agreed number of persons occupy the property. The proprietor reserves the right to refuse admittance if this condition is not observed and to any person who, in the opinion of the proprietor, is not suitable to take charge. In such cases all hire charges shall be refunded in full and all liability of the proprietor will then cease.
  • The proprietor does not accept any responsibility or liability for either loss or damage of the tenant's property or accidents or injuries incurred by the tenant, during the term of let.
  • Any let shall be deemed a holiday let and shall not confer on any tenant a statutory tenancy or any right excluding recovery of possession under and in terms of Rent Scotland Acts 1971 to 1974 or any acts amend
